Reflection:
Here is my peer evaluation by my fellow peer Kiyara Weerakoon.I believe that I am very happy with the peer evaluation by my peer.The reason I am happy with this evaluation is that I was able to complete all the points that I was required and also I am very happy with the way she has commented on all my points using positive comments on my performance.In this peer evaluation, my partner Kiyara has evaluated me according to the points in the table that are in the image above which evaluate me on my blog and also the posts included in them and the different criteria that are included in all my posts and my tasks during this unit.I believe that the suggestions my peer has put for me are quite beneficial and useful for future to improve my blog to make it better.Another thing is that I believe that using her suggestion that could really help me to follow the points so that my blog could be  better.I believe something that I would implement from her suggestions would be to make the appearance of my blog fancier as it is quite plain and also another one that I will implement is to make my paragraphs clearer so that it is easier for the reader.




Task 3:

Reflection:
During this unit, there were many tasks involved but our final task was the tinker-cad task where we had to design inventions and create them on tinker-cad so that the inventions would be 3D.Tinker-cad was a website that we used throughout the unit to perform our tasks, what the website mainly allowed us to d was to create our invention on work planes using 3D shapes that we then used to create our inventions so then our inventions  could become 3D too due to the shapes we used.All our tasks that we were assigned were tasks where we would have to create inventions and then we would actually design them on tinker-cad using different techniques and materials.

I believe that in all the tasks I was able to fulfill all the requirements in all of them including my reflections and my creations too, I believe that I was able to complete all my tasks, creations and reflections very well and that all my results were successful.In terms of my design specification and the link to the tinker-cad design, I believe that I was able to successfully replicate it and that I was also able to successfully meet all the point in the design specification.For the shapes that I have used, I believe that I was able to do that in my designs and also explain them in my reflections.For the target audience, I  also mentioned it and explained it in my design specification and also my reflections in all my designs.For the aesthetics, I believe that I have followed them successfully.For the color, I believe that I have also followed that in my designs and I have also mentioned it clearly in my design specification and also in some of my reactions.For sense appeal, I believe that I have  done this and fulfilled this in my design.Also, for environmental considerations, I have mentioned it and explained it in my design specification but, I have also mentioned it in my reflections.For the functions, I have explained it both in my specification and also my reflections about the design.Lastly, for the size I have clearly explained it in both too, my specification and my reflection in some detail.

For this unit we focused on three ATLs for the unit, the three ATLs that we had were Creative Thinking, Communication and Creative Literacy.I believe all three of this ATLs really helped me through all my tasks on tinkercad. The way creative thinking helped me was the way I used it so that I could think of three inventions that I should create on tinkercad and also be able of inventions that could actually solve a problem in our society.For communication, I believe that I have said that when I had to describe my invention through a detailed description and also in my design specification where I had to name all the details of my invention.For creative literacy, I believe I had to use that when I had to take all the 3D shapes and use them creatively so then I could create my invention.In this unit, we also focused on one global context which is the orientation in time and space.The way I believe we have used that was that we had to look around us in our environment to find the problems so that we could think of inventions that could solve the problems.

In my different products, I believe that I was actually able to successfully complete them and the final product was actually quite good due to the skills and the shapes that I have used for my invention.For each invention, I managed to create them with all their details using the different shapes and the skills provided for me.For the first invention, my robot, I believe that I have done well overall, even though, I believe that I could do some more points so that I can make it better.Something I believe I can improve is that maybe next time I could make the details appear more by making all the measurements and maybe I could edit the shapes so that it could be more accurate.For my second invention, my piano helper I believe that I have done fairly well in creating it using the shapes.A way I believe that I could improve is that maybe I should include more details and maybe I should have used more skills to create so that the appearance would look more complex and better and many ways.For my third invention, my child-friendly syringe I believe I could have made it a little better so that it could look better appearance wise.Something I believe I could improve on the way I built it as I could have used some skills like holes and editing measurements so that it could be more detailed.From all those tasks I believe that I have learned much more and have gained much more knowledge than before.One thing that I believe I have learned are different skills in tinkercad, some of the skills would be: holes, grouping, ungrouping, displaying work planes and many others one that I have used.Another thing I have learned is how to use the website and mainly how to see an object from many perspectives and mainly how to use 3D shapes to create an invention on tinkercad.

To conclude I believe that I have fulfilled all my tasks successfully and that I was really able to benefit from many perspectives from all the tasks, in terms of knowledge, skills, techniques, websites, ideas, designing and many others that I have to learn.Lastly, I believe that I have learned a lot from this takes and that I was able to meet all the points that I was required successfully without many struggles.Lastly, I believe that all the tasks have been extremely beneficial and that they have really helped me to gain more knowledge.

Criteria C-Creating the product

My inventions on tinker cad

My robot:








Instructions:
  1. First, I placed one box and adjusted it to become the body of the robot
  2. Secondly, I placed a work plane on top and placed a box  for the head
  3. Third, I placed a work plane on the left and the right side and placed two orange boxes as the arms
  4. Fourth, I placed a work plane on the front and placed spheres and half spheres  (which I then flattened) as the buttons to work the robot.
  5. Meanwhile, I put 4 boxes and I then flattened them to adjust it to the size of the drawers and placed them on the robot
  6. After that, I out two boxes on the bottom of the body (after adjusting them) as the legs of the robot
  7. Later, I placed one sphere on each leg as the wheels
  8. Finally I placed a small sphere at the back as a button to start the whole robot




Reflection:
In this task I have created my robot on tinker-cad which makes it become a 3D shaped object.I have used tinker-cad to create the product and make it visually better by making it out of 3D shapes.This is my first invention, this invention is the robot I have invented that helps keep people neat.For my tinker-cad project we had to choose one of the three previous designs we drew for each of our inventions, for this project I chose the latest one as I thought that it was the one with the most options and of was also the most advanced one option wise and also technology wise.

In this tinker-cad design I quite several different shapes to form my invention mainly using 3D shapes that I had to flatten to  a flat shape in certain situations.The main shapes I have used were the box, the sphere and the half spheres.For the robot I have used the box for the body, the arms, the legs, the head.For the half spheres I used it for the buttons for the invention.For the spheres I also sued them for the buttons as well as I wanted to vary in sizes other than I have also used it for wheels for the robot.

In this task I believe that I have used several techniques to be able to form the robot,one of the techniques were how to be able to create a work plane to place something over the other object.A second technique I have used was the technique of being able to adjust shapes to the measurements you want and also being shorten  it and changing is height was one major technique I have used as I have used one shape in many parts in different measurements which made it a main technique I have used. The third technique I have used  is the technique of being able to make the 3D shape a 2D shape by using the technique of flattening a shape to make it become flat instead of 3D.

During this task I believe that I was able to successfully create the final design I also think that I was able to figure out many different techniques and also many different new shapes. Even though I created the design successfully I believe I had some struggles through the process so that I would be able to create it.I believe on of the struggles that I had were to be able to learn the technique of creating holes as I needed to know that skill so I had to investigate to learn it. Another struggle was to be able learn how to group and also how to ungroup which was a the technique that I also  had to learn, other than that, I also struggled with being able to align the objects as i found it quite hard.

To conclude I think that I was able to successfully bale to complete the task with very little struggles.I also think that I was able to learn a lot from this task and that it was very beneficial as I was able to learn many new techniques.Lastly I believe that I did well in this design and that I was able to create very well with very little struggles.

  1. First, I placed one box and placed it as the front piece
  2. Secondly, I placed another box behind it as the piece that has the pert of the function
  3. Third, I placed a small box behind the second one as the clip that attaches it to the piano
  4. Meanwhile, I added some circles on the front as the buttons that control the invention
  5. Lastly, I added circles on the side to be the parts that hear the music and the part that shows you the music through a small speaker


Reflection:
In this task I have created my piano helper  on tinker-cad which makes it become a 3D shaped object.I have used tinker-cad to create the product and make it visually better by making it out of 3D shapes.This is my second invention, this invention is the piano helper I have invented that people to play the piano.For my tinker-cad project we had to choose one of the three previous designs we drew for each of our inventions, for this project I chose the latest one as I thought that it was the one with the most options and it was also the most advanced one appearance wise and also technology wise.

In this tinker-cad design I quite several different shapes to form my invention mainly using 3D shapes that I had to flatten them to a flat shape in certain situations.The main shapes I have used were the box and  the holed circles.For the piano helper I have used the box for the three main parts, the front box with the controlling buttons, the middle part with the speaker and the option for the function of the invention and the last part which is the clip that enables the invention to be attached to the piano to perform its function properly.

To form this design I have used many different techniques to be able to create it on this website.Some of the techniques that I have used are aligning shapes, placing work planes, adjusting shape measurements and many different ones too.For the first technique which I aligning shapes, I used that so that I could form the body of the object on the work plane.For the second technique which is placing work planes, I have used that so that I would be able to place shapes over and next to each other correctly.For my third technique which is adjusting shapes, I have used that to be able to adjust my measurements so that they could fit the parts of my objects.

During the process of creating these objects I didn't really have many struggles but, I only encountered a very minimal amount of them.One struggle that I have encountered were to be able to align the shapes correctly from every side which I believe was quite hard for me to do, to overcome this I asked one of my fellow peers to help me do it.Another struggle I encountered was being able to adjust some of the measurements as I couldn't accurately do it in some cases.A way that I overcame this was by asking the teacher to help through that step so that I would be able to overcame it.The last struggle that I encountered was  being able to lear how to place work planes, to overcome this I also investigated on the website so that I may learn this skill.

To conclude I believe that I have done fairly well in this task and that it was extremely beneficial to do.Other than that I believe that next time I will be able to learn much more techniques.`another thing is that I believe that my knowledge has now increased and that I have much more information about this that makes me capable of doing it again with less struggles than this time.Lastly I have really enjoyed this task and I have benefitted a lot from it and I believe I have done fairly well in the finalized product.

  2. Second I placed a sphere on the cone to create the head
  3. Thirdly I placed two half spheres on the top right and left side of the sphere as the ears
  4. Next, I placed two small spheres on the sphere as the eyes 
  5. After that I placed a square so that it could be the part that exits the decorations
  6. Lastly I placed the sphere as a button that allows the head to spin and for sound effects too


Reflection:
In this task I have created my syringe on tinker-cad which makes it become a 3D shaped object.I have used tinker-cad to create the product and make it visually better by making it out of 3D shapes.This is my third, this invention is the syringe I have invented that helps people to stay calm and be less frightened by the needle through distractions.For my tinker-cad project we had to choose one of the three previous designs we drew for each of our inventions, for this project I chose the latest one as I thought that it was the one with the most options and of was also the most advanced one option wise and also  use wise and appearance wise.

For this project I have used many different shapes and objects to create it.All the shapes were actually 3D but for certain parts of the syringe I needed to flatten the 3D shapes so that they are 2D to fit on the syringe.The main shapes I have used to create this is the half spheres, spheres, cone, box and the holed circles. For the half spheres I used them to be the ears of the mouse that is the head of the syringe.For the full spheres I have used them for the eyes on the head of the syringe which are actually the buttons that control the sound effects, the decorations and spinning the head of the syringe.For the cone I used it to be the main body of the syringe.For the box I used it as a part that exits the sound effects that is controlled by the buttons on the head.For the final shape which is the holed circles, I have used it to exit the decorations from the syringe itself which is also controlled by the second button on the head of the syringe.

For this task, to be able to form this design I had to use many different techniques to be able to create this design on that website.Some of the techniques I have used are placing work planes, making holes, curving the cone and adjusting measurements. The first technique which is placing work planes, I used that so then I would be able to align different shapes together accurately in a proper way.For my second technique which is making holes I used it so that I would be able to easily place the eyes into the sphere in a correct measurement.For my third technique which is curving the cone, I used it so that I would be able to build the body of the syringe itself.For my fourth technique which is adjusting measurements, I used that so I would be able to place the shapes over each other and next to each other correctly so that I would be able to build the actual object accurately.

To conclude I believe that I have done well in this product and that I was able to successfully do this task and it ended well.Other than that I believe that I have benefited a lot from this and that I have learnt many techniques that I didn't before that I think will now help me in further IT education and that it will really enhance my capabilities in IT and that I will be able to do much more things due to those techniques. Another thing is that I believe that after this task my knowledge of tinker  cad has increased a lot after this and that I am now able to do much more things. Lastly  I believe I have done well and that I have really benefited from this task.


The Handy Key-chain





Description:
This is my final invention, I decided to call this the handy key-chain due to how it's function works and I used it to match the name.This invention which is the handy key-chain addresses a certain p[problem that has been all over our community's society and the citizens in them especially.This invention mostly targets people from the age of ten and above and mainly for girls  as the function may not be extremely beneficial for them.This invention is a key-chain, this key-chain addresses the main problem that I believe many people struggle from (mainly girls), this problem is how many people never bother to carry bags when they go out and sometimes due to ton this and how many things they carry sometimes this causes for them to use their things.The way this key-chain solves this problem is that using the drawers on the keychain it may fit one of your items in each drawer, this then makes sure that the things are secure inside the keychain.What you do is that you first use the letters that you create a password with to allow you to open the drawers on the keychain after you insert the password, you then press o the button to open the drawers so that you are able to insert your items.If you want you may have the option to clip it to something or even put it into your pocket where it may be secure inside.This keychain is a small size which gives it the advantage that it may fit in your pocket without a problem, also, even though I believe that it may be mainly addressed for girls there will be designs for girls and boys to be able to purchase them.The way I believe tat this will solve the problem is that this will then solve the problem as people may be encouraged to us not due to how small it is and that it is portable which takes it easier to use.To conclude I believe that this is a very good invention and that many people can use it which results in that it may solve the prol=blem that is all over our society.


Instructions:
  1. First I put a box on the work plane to form the main part of the keychain that has the name on it
  2. Secondly, I put a cylinder hole on the right side of the box after adjusting it to the correct size and I then grouped the hole and the box together
  3. Next, I inserted a work plane on top of the hole and out two holed circles one as the button and the other one as the clip that attaches it to an object
  4. After that, I inserted another work plane on the box and inserted all the letters that spelled my name so that I may personalize it and so that I may find it in case I lose it
  5. Meanwhile, I got eight boxes and I adjusted them so that they could become the drawers where the main function happens



Reflection:
In this task, I have created my key-chain on tinker-cad which makes it become a 3D shaped object.I have used tinker-cad to create the product and make it visually better by making it out of 3D shapes.This is my fourth and final invention, this invention is the key-chain I have invented that helps people to stay calm and be less frightened by the needle through distractions.For our tinker-cad project after we created all our three planned inventions we had to do a final one that used more complicated techniques to use all our knowledge that we learned to create one final invention using our knowledge that we learned from this unit.The reason I have chosen this is that I believe it can really address the problem I have chosen.

For this creation, I believe what was unique about it was that I used many different shapes, techniques and I also learned more skills that I haven't used on the creations that I also attempted in the earlier creations that I have done.Another thing that was unique was that in this one I decided to use letters instead of regular shapes as it was something that I a=wanted to investigate more but I couldn't investigate it previously as I didn't have a chance to use it in any of my previous designs and creations.

For me to be able to think if the design it didn't honestly take me a long time to get the idea, the way I was able to think of the idea was I first thought of a problem that I experienced and directly this came to me as I find it to be a common problem with not just me but also my friends.Another way I thought of this idea is I thought of some of the skills that I learn in the lesson and how I cold utalise all of them to create one created from all of them where in the beginning I couldn't fidn an idea but when I reviewed on my lesson ad what I created them I got the idea to create a key-chain but as I wanted it to have a new function I thought of the common problem.

Also when I first strated to think of the creation I struggled a little  bit as I was not really able to think of any renovated ideas so I was going to think of juyst making an existiing product on tinkercad but when I then ereviewed my lessons and I saw what I created in them I directly thought of the keychain, also due to the way I though of common problems that I meet the idea of this ;product came to me as I though that it could actually be a solution for the problem realistically speaking.

Honestly, I believe that this product is quite beneficial for many people but maybe it would be targeted to people more than the age of ten as the function would be more effective on them than on the younger ages.Also, I believe that girl may prefer it more than boys but, boys may be interested in it but  not necessarily a majority of the boys.Generally, I believe that this product can really help the society and fix this common problem for many people and citizens in our community.A way I believe that it may be beneficial is that due to the main function of the product it may help may people as many people like me and my friends never bother to carry a bag and just put things in out pockets and when that happens sometimes we lose the things due to the fact that they are not secure just thrown in out pockets which I believe make my product beneficial due to the fact that that it may fit and be put in the pocket it will be inside a secure object that will keep them safe.

To cocnlude I believe I have done very well for thinking of the idea and also being able to successfully build my invention on tinker-cad without many struggles, other than that I believe I have done well in making the function actually beneficial for the society.Lastly, I relieve that this task has really omcrrsased  knowledge of tinker-cad and techniques on tinker-cad but also the knowledge of different shapes and holes and also grouping and ungrouping which I believe will be extra,raely beneficial for me in my future education in IT.

Task on Funnel Activity, identifying keywords for design specification



Reflection:

In this task, we read a passage that talked about board games, in the passage it talked all about board games and all its details.In the passage it talked about what you should consider when you buy a board game or when you create a board game, it talked about the general features of a board game and also, the features in the general appearance of them board, for example, it talked about how the board actually looks like and it's features.other than that it also talked about the packaging and the appearance of the packaging and how it should look.It also talked about the different factors of appearance like shapes,colors etc.

In this task I worked with the partner that was sitting at the desk next to me, her name was Piya.The way that we worked together was that each of us collected 25 words that we had to collect, after that I and my partner collaborated to compromise both our words to just five words that we thought were the most important and concluded the whole topic.We then shared information and cooperated to be able to find the 5 words that we thought were important and that we both agreed on.

I think that from this activity I the different considerations that should be taken when creating a board game.I also learned the details of a  road game and the different features that it has like counters, instructions, a box and many other items.I also learned the different factors of appearance for example how the packaging looks, how does the board look what are the contées like and several other things.Some considerations that I believe were the main ones that I have learned are colours, shapes, characters and the theme of the game itself, another major thing that I have learnt as a consideration is that a board game should always be easy to play as that will be one major thing that would appeal to kids.

In this task, I believe that I was able to successfully identify the 25 keywords easily.The way I was able to identify them was as ms read us the passage I listened to her clearly so I could then identify the keywords easily by focusing and analyzing the text to heavenly to extract all the keywords that I found.I think that I was able to easily to identify the words and extract them from the text.I believe that I am a thinker because I was able to analyze the text and extract the 25 words.Other than that `i think that I was also able to find the essential and the desirable words and I was also able to categorize my 25 words into the two categorize the words with no struggles and I was also able to use my critical thinking skills to be bale to correctly categorize all the words.I believe that this will really be helpful in my design specification as I could use some of the considerations that I have learned like appearance, I could use that to reflect on my inventions as it partially relates to it.To conclude I believe me and my partner have done an overall good job and I think that I was able to learn some things from this lesson.

The Design Specification is the most crucial element of the Design Cycle. 

A good Design Specification should include information that you learned about the task/problem from your research.


It is a list of requirements that your design ideas must meet plus a list of constraints that you have. It is the check list that you need to use when you start to make your design ideas.

Reflection:

Here I have completed three designs for each invention.My first invention is the robot that helps you keep your desk and most of your house tidy.My second invention was the clip that helped you play the piano better.My last invention is the child-friendly syringe, this helps the child taking the injection to be less scared of taking it by adding to it child-friendly things like animals and sounds and also other special effects.Over the time of creating my sketches, I renovated some of the functions of my inventions for them to be better, other than that in each design I have annotated the details of the invention.In my first three designs, I drew the robot, the first one was regular with only the function of opening and closing drawers, the second one had a portable chair, the third one had a radio and also a portable table.In my second invention designs in the first one, it only had the option of harmonizing, the second one had the option of telling you the notes of a famous song, the third one had the option of also showing scales to be played on the piano.In my third invention designs the first one only had and animal on it to distract the child, the second one had a sound effect when you pushed the animal so that it can also distract the child from the pain, the last one had the option of the animal to explored colors once the child pushed it so it may also distract the child.For my design I was able to complete them well without a lot of struggles but, one struggle I believe that I had was maybe being able to draw them detailed as I am not that good a drawing, however, I believe that I was able to annotate well on my designs.Other than that I believe that I was able to color them well and also I was able to easily think of new additions to my inventions as I drew them.To conclude I believe that I have done generally well in this assignment and I was able to successfully complete it, I also think that the appearance of my design are good but could be better as I am not that good in drawing.I believe that next time I could improve my drawing skills but also maybe increase my annotations on my drawings.


Design Justification                                                   13/11/2016


Reflection:

In this task I completed a justification between my two inventions that I first started in this project. My two inventions were the Tobot which was a robot that helped a person to not make a mess and stay neat and tidy. My second invention is the Mr. Pianist, this invention helped people play the piano and also learn new skills in the piano so that they would be able to successfully play the piano at the end, it also helped people with the desire to play and yet unable to due to how hard the instrument is. For each pf the inventions I saw if it matched with the points in the design specification or not in my three different designs for the invention. For the Tobot I saw that it matched all seven points in the design specification that I did before I drew my designs. However I also saw that in my third drawing and my second drawing I renovated my invention further in terms of the appearance and also function as I added a feature in each drawing so that it could be extremely updated by the last drawing. For the Mr. Pianist I had the same observation, for this invention all three drawings met all the seven points and same as the Tobot in the second and third drawing I improved the invention further in terms fi appearance and also function as I added a feature in each drawing so that I could make it renovated. After this I chose the Tobot. The reason his is because I thought that the feature was more effective than my other invention and also because I found it more technological and also updated. Other than that I also found it to be a better idea than the other one as I think that it actually had a better function than the other one. To conclude I manged to successfully complete the justification and also I was able to pick an invention that I think is the more successful and also the more effective as the problem it helps is spreaded and witnessed by many people in our society.

CRITERION A-INQUIRY AND ANALYSIS

Lesson 1:Learning the moves result

Reflection:
In this lesson, my task was to select the shape that was on the work plane.After that, I needed to identify the orange outlined area.Then I dragged the shape on the right side of the work plane and tried to accurately put it on the exact area that was outlined in orange.I believe that the lesson was extremely easy to complete but I also think that it was quite beneficial.Other than that I also think that what I found complicated was maybe finding myself around the tools during the lesson as it asked me to use certain features on the website which I found quite hard as I was quite unfamiliar with the website.In this lesson, I have learned about the work plane and also how to drag shapes to create a 3D object. To conclude I have learned a new skill and I was successfully able to complete the lesson with not many struggles during the process.


Lesson 2:Camera control results

Reflection:
In this lesson, it was about different ways of zooming in and out and also using different ways to see one thing from many different perspectives and from all
different sides and corners.For this lesson, I had to complete every instruction that was given to me in the lesson.My main task was to zoom in and out and observe the image from different perspectives of the work plane to see the person that was hiding behind the barrier in the front of the display, so I had to see the person by using different ways to zoom in and look at it from different sides.I had to use the buttons to be able to locate myself on the screen but I also learned another way which was by right clicking and then moving the mouse to move freely around the work plane.I believe that I found this lesson quite easy but the only difficulty I had was being able to move in the exact direction I wanted.To conclude I was able to successfully pass the lesson without any difficulties and I was also able to learn a new skill by completing this lesson which was being able to use the camera control buttons to locate myself on the work plane.

In this lesson, it was mostly about accurately adjusting 3D shapes on the work plane and adjusting it to several different sizes in terms of height and width.In this lesson, my main task was to be able to find the shapes on the website and then drag it to the correct, proper area next to the example one displayed on the work plane.After that, I had to adjust each cylinder to the measurement that was assigned.I had to adjust it by learning how to select the shape and how to adjust it after it was selected.When I kept trying I then was able to successfully do it at the end with some difficulties.However, I was able to complete the lesson and also learn how to adjust a 3D object on a computer using the tinkercad website.Lastly, I believe I was successfully able to complete all the instructions in the lesson with minimal difficulties but I was also able to learn a very beneficial skill by completing the lesson which is how to adjust a 3D object.

Lesson 4:key ring, letters result

Reflection:
In this lesson, it was mostly about creating a 3D key ring using 3D shaped letters that were provided by the website in the lesson.I was also introduced to a new feature on the website during the lesson which was called inspector which basically showed you the color of the object that you were selecting on the spot.In this lesson, my main task was to create a key ring that spelled the given name to us.I had to make the given name on the key ring 3D by using the 3D shaped letters that were given to me to create.After I put them on I was then asked to clear my work plane and adjust the sizes of the letters while they were on the key ring.However, even though I was able to complete the lesson I struggled in adjusting some of the letters and also clearing out my work plane as I wasn't that familiar with the features of the website.In this lesson I learned a couple of new skills on the website, one of them was adjusting the 3D letters onto the key ring but also changing their sizes, other than that I also learned how the inspector works and also how to clear the work plane and selecting the objects on the workplace.To conclude I believe that I have done a good job completing the lesson with very little difficulties since I was unfamiliar with the website but also the skills and completing all the instructions in the lesson. I was also, successfully able to create the final product and learn several beneficial skills during the lesson.

What is 3D printing?
3D printing is a process that is performed to be able to create three-dimensional solid objects through this process by using digital equipment for the process to be performed.Other than that it is basically creating a physical object to a three-dimensional digital model

How does 3D printing work?

To create a 3D object you must first start with a virtual design of the object you want to make. Next, your design

could be a CAD (computer aided deign) file, this file is created using a 3D modeling application or a 3D scanner to create a 3D digital copy.Lastly, a 3D scanner uses different technologies to create a 3D model.


What is the technology behind it?
For 3D printing, not all the scanners and the printers use the same technology and equipment as some of them use different ways than each other.They are mostly different about the way they lay the layers to create the final product.There are several methods, some of them use melting and the softening to [produce the layers to create the product.This method uses two main technologies, Selective laser sintering (SLS) and fused deposition modeling (FDM) which are the most common to be used in this method of 3D printing.The next method

Aerospace- 3D printing is a very vital tool for their everyday job.They use it to have a quick prototype, manufacturing, and tooling.
Architecture- 3D printing is also quite vital in architecture as there the main job is to build and create they use 3D printing to create models for their new projects.

Art- In art, it is one of the most common jobs that uses 3D printing to be able to create certain types of art by fusing 3D modeling and traditional finishes.
Automotive- For this job it also uses 3D modeling, a way that it uses it is by using it to create highly accurate and functional tools and prototypes that they then develop into their job.

•Who would use 3D printing?

There are many different people that can use it, for example, an artist can use a 3D printer for many things like creating new styles of art like fusing 3D modeling with traditional finishes and creating models by art.A second person that can use architect as they also need to create models to be able to develop new projects by using 3D modeling to create a virtual model using 3D printing.A third person that uses 3D printing are people that work in aerospace as they also use it in their daily job for manufacturing and to create tools to then help them by using it in their job.The last person that can use it is a person that works in automotive as they also use it to create functional prototypes and accurate tools to help them in their job.

Real life situations where ergonomics friendly products are used:


  • Manufacturing processes:In 1979 one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural equipment John Deere used ergonomic principles to reduce the number of injuries that the workers have in their job in North America.
  • Mainframe computers: in Sandiego, California a manufacturer in mainframe computers decided to involve ergonomics into their workstations to help decrease the number of injuries in their work 
  • Faster Directory assistance:A telephone regional company used ergonomic to redesign their workspace mainly for easier viewing, they also redesigned so they could allow the operators to answer calls but they also were able to reduce the amount of time for each call.
  • De-bonding plants:In this area they also used ergonomics, they used it to create redesigned, de-bonding butcher knives.The reason they use ergonomics was to create these knives and after that the worker's injuries were decreased and also, their profits increased.

Many children complain that piano is very hard, and me as a young piano player use to also complain that it was very hard for me to learn how to play the piano, also since I sing too I also find it extremely hard to harmonize with my partner but also for example to play the harmonic tune for the song I am performing. I also think that it is very hard to receive notes to play certain notes for musical pieces and also it is quite difficult to play a song on the internet and find the notes so that you can be able to play it on the piano. Other than me I believe that there are many children around the community that suffer from this problem. It is a very common problem that happens in many houses all over the world with many piano players. It is a problem that many pianists in different ages in different countries. The problem is for example, when you decide that you would like to harmonize a certain pitch that you are playing on the piano to the note that you are singing, most if the time for many young piano players it is very hard to find the harmonizing note that could go well with the note you are trying to harmonize. Also, many students in a school suffer in music classes to actually play the right notes from sheets that they are given in class and other people that sing really suffer from being able to match the notes on the piano to the song they are singing. Another thing that I think is also students that enter to play for the first time may find it extremely hard to play which is why I believe that I can create something to help them be able to actually play the music. Lastly, I think if I invent something beneficial I think that I can really help many people in my community that suffer from this, also I think if my object succeeds  I could really help and courage little children that play the piano.


I have noticed among the days at my house that my desk is always untidy due to books and stationary and many things that just make it look extremely untidy and very disorganized. A problem that has been caused by the amount of untidiness on my desk is that I have lost several things and have had them gone missing.For example, once I had lost a certain certificate in my house and spent a long time looking for it  and then found it under the pile of books and random items on my desk. After that I tried to clean it up but, after a certain amount of time it was very messy again, I kept continuing to clean it up and attempt to make it organized but it always returned to a messy place.I have also sometimes lost some of my books or my stationary because at the end of the week my desk turns into a heap of books and scrap papers.It then becomes extremely hard to organize ad make it look neat but also, to find anything missing or anything I am looking for.Other than that I heard about another  people also suffer from due to this.This problem is that sometimes when you are settled into your desk and you are ready to start to study you then remember that you couldn't find your book or you have forgotten where you have put it in the house yesterday when you were studying the day before it.they  then start looking for it everywhere in the house and their parents blame their children for being disorganized and not be neat or tidy and not being able to keep their desk clean and also not able to organize your books properly and that you are not responsible enough to keep them  organized and neat.Parents have also complained that their kids sometimes loose assignment due to how messy their workspace is and how they do not keep their desk tidy and leave it extremely messy and also not able to hand in assignments due to how disorganized the person is.

For the first problem, I chose to create a small invention to help solve it.The problem was that it was hard for people to play the piano, to play harmonizing the notes and find the minor or the major.Also, picking up some notes, playing certain pieces, guessing the next note of a famous song that you are playing and several other factors of the problem.The invention I will be creating will be simple however it as an amazing function that could help solve this problem quite easily.This invention is going to be a small object this object has the option to be clipped to the piano.After that, it will have a microphone that will then will then be able to hear the note you play and will be able to play you the harmob=nizing note.This will also be able to play you the next note to a song by playing the song to the microphone so then the object could acknowledge it and play the next note for the song.Another function that it does is that if you are stuck and you are trying to look for either the major or the minor it can also be able to locate it if it hears the note you need.Other than that it can also help young kids to learn how to play the piano.The invention will also have the option to teach random scales but also notes to help basic pianists improve but also to help young children play the piano by making it easier for them as it is known that piano is one of the hardest instruments to play at a young age.

For the second problem, I decided to create a small simple invention to help solve a problem.This invention can be mainly used by teenagers or young kids in middle school, primary or even high school.The main problem I would like to address is how many children and students are quite disorganized and face a lot of problems due to being untidy and not very neat.Another thing is that some students have also been unable to keep their workspace at home and to keep it organized and instead if that they make it extremely unorganized and extremely messy which makes it look extremely unpresentable.My simple invention will help solve this problem in many different ways.My invention is not extremely big but it is in a medium size which can perfectly fit in a regular house which makes it usable in a house.What this machine is it is basically a robot that holds your books and all your things in drawers that it carries.This then has a tracking machine  attached to it so, when they need a book or any other thing like stationary they can use a remote to track the robot and bring it to the person by using a remote control.This will also have durable drawers so that it can hold books which can then make it more durable and also useful to use.By using this machine I believe that it could solve the problem and also help people become more organized, tidy and neat.To conclude I believe that the machine is quite beneficial and using it can be very good and that it can make a positive effect and make people more organized and also much tidier.

After checking my checklist by Kiyara, I believe that I have done extremely well as I managed to meet all the points and fulfill all my tasks on the blog. However, even though I managed to fulfill all the tasks I think I can improve on certain tasks by maybe adding more references and also maybe make certain written tasks more informative abut also detailed. Other than that I think that I can improve my reflections by increasing the amount of text.Also, I think That I can improve on my blog by making it s little more creative but also to decorate it a little bit more and to also set up my blog creatively. To conclude I think I have done extremely well but that to make my blog even better I think I can improve on certain tasks I have fulfilled.
